Emily is currently training as a Co-Active Coach through The Co-Active Training Institute (CTI) and will be a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) in 2020. She is a graduate of the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary, with a BComm in Marketing. Her background includes over 15 years experience in Marketing & Communications and over 10 years of dedicated entrepreneurship. With previous roles in corporate sponsorship for the Calgary Stampede and agency Account Direction, Emily brings leadership and direction to the team at Flipp. A strong believer in giving back, she has been a mentor for the Haskayne School of Business Mentorship program for 8 years and a guest speaker in the Venture Accelerator Program at Momentum. She has been Chair of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) fundraiser in Calgary after being on the committee for 5 years, and was Marketing Chair for the JDRF Gala in Vancouver, BC. She was inducted into the International Business Honour Society of Beta Gamma Sigma in 2003. Dedicated to work-life integration, Emily practices what she preaches. A proud mother who loves wine and a pilates enthusiast who refuses to let her Pearl Jam Ten Club membership lapse.
