Papa John's Pizza Canada has deep roots in the Alberta sporting community, and the Prairie division was looking for an opportunity to make a difference locally. Flipp brought together Papa John's Canada with KidSport Alberta to form the perfect dream team. Papa John's became KidSport Alberta's 2018 provincial sponsor, and along with fuelling their social media efforts, they teamed up for an exciting fundraising campaign that ran fall 2018. It was important to both clients for their employees and volunteers to feel engaged and empowered, and for all funds raised in each community to go directly back into their local KidSport Chapter.
Flipp worked with all key stakeholders to create a framework for the sponsorship, to develop a creative vision for their promotional campaign, and to leverage existing partnerships with the Calgary Hitmen to officially launch the campaign at the Hitmen 2018 Home Opener. The Pizza Power Play promotion was born. For every online order using promo code KIDSPORT, Papa John's gave the customer 30% off, and donated 10% to KidSport to help give more kids the chance to play sports. Talk about a win-win.
