For the past 16 years, Emily has been the Founder and Managing Partner of Flipp Advertising. She is passionate about working with our team and our clients, helping them grow in self-awareness to become impactful leaders in their work and life. Emily is a Leadership Coach, trained through the Co-Active Training Institute (CTI) and certified in the Enneagram Self-Awareness Assessment. She uses these tools to help teams create a healthier culture, see higher engagement, and increase productivity. Her previous experience includes agency Account Direction and Corporate Sponsorship at the Calgary Stampede. She was a mentor for the Haskayne School of Business and a frequent guest speaker in the Women’s Venture Accelerator Program at Momentum. She has been the Chair for JDRF Gala’s in both Calgary and Vancouver, fundraising for diabetes research. Emily was inducted into the International Business Honour Society of Beta Gamma Sigma in 2002, following earning her BComm in Marketing.

Craig is known for his strategic thinking, adeptly navigating business and communication challenges to ensure client success. His responsibilities include nurturing client relationships, shaping Flipp Advertising service portfolio, team building and driving operational excellence. Craig is a graduate of Emily Carr University of Art + Design, holding a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Design.

With over 25 years of experience, Bryan Jones is a seasoned full-stack engineer with a focus on front-end development. As Digital Director at Flipp Advertising, Bryan leads the interactive team in creating high-performing, user-friendly digital platforms that seamlessly blend design integrity with user experience. His extensive expertise spans a diverse range of industries, including tech, shipping, entertainment, environmental sectors, B2B markets, e-commerce, and apparel. Bryan is proficient in various programs used for planning, developing, and executing complex projects. Known for his exceptional problem-solving skills, he excels at quickly troubleshooting and resolving issues while rapidly mastering new software and systems. His commitment to sharing knowledge and fostering strong professional relationships highlights his role as a versatile and innovative leader in the digital space.

Ashley looks after bookkeeping and administration at Flipp and she is as versatile as a Swiss army knife. She is armed with a Professional Bookkeeping Certificate from Red Deer College and a Diploma in Interior Design Technology from Lethbridge College. She was the Valedictorian of her 2012 graduation class and received the Governor General award. An animal lover with 2 cats and a Red Heeler Dog, Ashley grew up on an acreage just outside of Eckville Alberta. When she isn’t organizing our lives at Flipp you’ll find her with her nose in an an audio book on personal development.

As a Senior Account Manager, Lauren helps clients bring their projects and brands to life. As a liaison between clients and Flipp's internal team, Lauren works collaboratively to help solve clients diverse problems and drive marketing strategies and campaigns to achieve clients business objectives. She has lead a portfolio of accounts various industries including real estate and development, food and beverage, financial services, education, health and wellness, and not-for-profits. As a graduate from Mount Royal University with a degree in Bachelor of Business Administration and a double major in Marketing and General Management, Lauren brings clear communication, a detail oriented mindset, and strategic thinking to the team at Flipp.

Good thing being a Yoga Teacher helps keep her grounded amidst the fast paced world of marketing.

Originally from Regina, SK, Caitlyn ventured to Calgary in 2016 to pursue a passion for filmmaking enrolling in the Film and Video Production program at SAIT. There she honed production management skills collaborating nationwide contributing expertise to major projects with industry leaders like Sony, HBO, and Netflix.

Transitioning to PR in 2020, she crafted compelling narratives and communication strategies. Throughout her career, Caitlyn has led numerous successful campaigns for both local and national clients, focusing on building brand experiences and enhancing reputations. Her knack for putting out fires and managing workback schedules makes her an integral component of the Account team at Flipp. Outside of the office, Caitlyn is always on the move. Whether she's hitting the golf course, spiking volleyballs, volunteering, or immersing herself in local art galleries and film festivals.

As an Account Manager at Flipp, Marian thrives on helping clients solve problems, create impactful work, and build beautiful brands. Her experience includes a diverse mix of industries, including education, food and beverage, agriculture, arts, insurance, and nonprofits. Armed with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Marketing from SAIT, Marian's versatility in client engagement allows her to navigate the unique challenges and opportunities presented by each sector.

When she's not keeping projects on track, you'll find her experimenting with new baking recipes, delving into mystery/thriller books, or making time to spend with her nieces and nephews.

After graduating from Mount Royal University with a degree in Marketing, Matt used his skills and a deep understanding of digital media tools to help a variety of clients reach their marketing goals. His passion for SEO research, creating digital media strategies and focusing on ad campaign optimization makes him an asset to the Flipp team. Matt is fueled by his love for exploring, whether it’s taking in the local food and beverage scene in Calgary, or planning his next big trip.

Adam Steel leads Social Media at Flipp, equipped with a BA in Marketing from SAIT, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the digital landscape. With over 5 years of media production experience, Adam has crafted compelling content, spanning from high-end commercial productions to captivating lofi short-form pieces. He blends a strong visual background with innovative content and social strategies, positioning our clients for success. Fueling his creativity is a love for music, arts, fashion, and, of course, a great cup of coffee. In his free time, you’ll also find him running marathons—you could say he goes the extra mile.

Jen has been helping clients reach their goals through creative problem solving and exceptional design since 2006. After graduating from ACAD (now Alberta University of the Arts) with a Bachelor of Design, Jen found her passion in creating award-winning brand identities and packaging design. Over the years, Jen has had the opportunity to use her design skills to create many campaigns launching new communities and residential projects in the real estate world and a variety of other sectors. Outside of office hours, Jen is a self-proclaimed cardio junkie - which she fuels through long distance running, road biking, and chasing after her daughter. If you want a good sweat, just try one of her pilates classes.

Marina, a seasoned UI/UX designer, brings a wealth of experience in brand, editorial, and graphic design to the team at Flipp. Having graduated from the British Higher School of Art and Design in Moscow, she discovered her passion for UI/UX design during her tenure with a small, local award-winning agency in Moscow, where she excelled as both a Graphic and UI designer. Now proudly calling Calgary home, Marina seamlessly blends her love for the outdoors with her professional pursuits. When she's not dreaming about typography, you'll likely find her outside enjoying the Rocky Mountains or sitting front row at a film festival.

Katelyn was born and raised in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. She graduated from CBU with a Bachelor of Science in biology and started a career as a plant ecologist. (We had to look it up: Plant Ecologists examine plants and their relationship with the environment and with other plants). Mapping the history of a forest grew into wanting more adventure. She caught the travel bug and left to see the world for two years. Katelyn landed in Calgary and fell in love with being able to go see live music every week. She enrolled in the SAIT web development program and graduated in 2017. Katelyn loves coding because it’s constantly changing so she never gets bored.

Dylan Luc brings a passion for coding and creative problem-solving to his role as Jr. Developer at Flipp. With a collaborative Bachelor of Communication and Media Studies from the University of Calgary and a New Media Production and Design diploma from SAIT, Dylan’s expertise bridges technical proficiency and design innovation. A programmer since age 14, Dylan honed his skills through years of student programming contests, fuelling a love for Web Development. He thrives at the intersection of code and creativity, building functional, user-focused designs that make an impact. When he’s not coding, Dylan enjoys lacing up his skates and hitting the ice, exploring hiking trails, and—no surprise here—immersing himself in even more programming adventures.
