Brewsters weren’t the first to create a cocktail in a can, so our creative needed to stand out from the crowd in store fridges. We also needed to come up with a unique and memorable brand name to stick in the minds of shoppers, a social media strategy to help put the brand’s best face forward and marketing materials to bring it all to life.
Brevy is a combination of Bevy and Brew (for Brewsters). Put them together and boom, you’ve got Brevy. When designing the can packaging, we wanted to make sure that shoppers could easily tell which fruit flavours were in each can as they stood freezing in the cooler section of their local liquor store. Each flavour was then given a unique “has anyone ever…” story, written in Brevy’s own quirky tone of voice. Brevy’s website and social media presence carry through the same playful vibe and fun brand identity that make you want to crack one open for a good time.
After multiple taste tests, we have concluded that Saskatoon Berry Lemon is our favourite flavour.
