Goal: Create a modern brand that will stand the test of time.
Hempalta produces premium hemp products for a wide-range of industries including concrete reinforcement, pet care, garden care, food preservation, and hemp-infused products. It was important that their brand would resonate with both the hemp community (farmers and industry), as well as potential investors and retailers. It needed to convey a modern, but also timeless appeal that would stand the test of time.
Key insight: “above all, hemp is strong”.
The new brand was formed around the insight that “above all, hemp is strong”. Focusing on the concept of strength allowed us to create a brand that conveys all of the ways in which hemp is strong, from its versatility and durability to the strength of the hemp community.
The final logo is bold and representative of Hempalta’s ag-tech background, while the colour palette and chosen imagery keep the brand approachable and rooted in nature. The brand positioning statement was crafted to communicate Hempalta’s brand mission in a concise and compelling way: “Using the strength of hemp to empower the planet”. This statement is the rallying cry that speaks to Hempalta’s purpose and how this brand will leave its mark on the industry and on the world.
